In the Jozef Kollar Gallery she met with the volunteers who helped to evacuate our collection during the fire and also with the representatives of the institutions directly affected by the fire that broke out on 18.3.2023 in Banská Štiavnica.
Marek Kvetan presented to the President his exhibition called Petrus installed in the Great Hall. Our Gallery curator, Mária Janušová, spoke in detail about a pair of late Gothic sculptures by Master MS, St. Catherine and St. Barbara, which are among our most precious collection objects. Finally, an informal discussion with representatives of the fire-damaged objects took place in the permanent exhibition of Jozef Kollár.
